My Practice

In my over two decades of practice, I have worked with thousands of family and criminal law clients. Often the two practice areas intersect. My clients benefit from one lawyer handling their legal needs. I focus on matters involving:

• Family law.  I handle all matters related to divorce, adoption and paternity actions. I will also work with you on modification or enforcement of an existing divorce judgment regarding child support, child custody or spousal support.
• Divorce.  I work with men and women involved in disputes over child custody and visitation/parenting plans, child support, alimony or spousal support, and the equitable division of marital property, including both the assets and the debts of a marriage.
• Criminal defense.  I defend people charged with misdemeanors or felonies, including traffic violations, drug offenses, DUI/BWI, violent crimes and white collar crime. I also handle probation violations and expunctions.
• Family violence.  I represent people in civil or criminal proceedings involving allegations of domestic or family violence, including requests for protective orders or defending against such requests.
